“A healthier body supports a calmer mind. A nourished mind can contemplate the Dhamma.”

Haritha Saṅgrāmaya is a long-term sustainability initiative supporting food security projects for Jetavanarama Buddhist Monastery.

Who We Are

Haritha Saṅgrāmaya was created to support the long-term food sustainability needs of Jethavanarama Buddhist Monastery.

Rather than relying only on short-term food donations, this initiative focuses on sustainable agriculture, cultivation, water management, and food security projects that can continue supporting the monastery for generations to come.

Our goal is simple:

To help create a sustainable future where wholesome food remains available for monks, anagarikas, practitioners, school children, volunteers, devotees, and future generations seeking the Dhamma.

Our Vission

WHY THIS MATTERS TO AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND

For many years, the teachers of Jetavanarama Buddhist Monastery have travelled throughout Australia and New Zealand sharing the Dhamma through meditation retreats, wellbeing programs, Dhamma sermons, counselling, spiritual guidance, Mind Lab, Detox Your Mind programs, and online teachings.

Through these programs, many individuals and families have found clarity, peace, healing, and direction in life.

Haritha Saṅgrāmaya provides an opportunity for the Australian and New Zealand communities to support the monastery and teachers who continue to dedicate their lives to helping others.
